Protecting and respecting the privacy and data of members and potential members should be at the forefront of a chapter's customer-centric efforts. The legal landscape is changing in regard to how entities can communicate with individuals and how data collected from them can be used.

Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this session, attendees will be able to:• Describe good practices for protecting data of chapter members.• Describe safe and legal practices for collecting and using member data.
